Multi Php config module and apache vhost manager

Fast CGI will have same issues... all about getting back suhosin and openbasedir and don't forget with fast cgi openbase dir won't be in apache config file. So it will not be generated by sentora. And you will have to get your module adding that too. A little mess and any error would mean server hacker could get root easily.

Why not just have a php.ini with minimal settings in the users public_html folder?

Php looks for any .ini file.

Beside that you could change some php values like max post size or upload in .htaccess file site wide.

From my reading, multi-php.ini will only work if you are running fastCGI or similar, it won't work on the panel as it is...

Correct, we haven't even started to look into securing it. I wouldn't think it would be that hard since other panels use it. May be something worth looking into a little more closer.

I started to play around yesterday day with fastcgi. I had (some) success, I complete a started sentora install successfully then install the required fast cgi packages over the top.
Had to remove the addhandler x-http... Line from apache and add
The fast cgi aliases and what not and could serve then sentora panel login was accept but just displays a white page when load modules etc. So must be some code or extenstion for/in php missing or something along those lines will have to look into logs.

I'll post a phpinfo screen shot later
