Best make sure you don't update your php too much or your customers may freak out as their scripts/sites may stop working
Not many developers have updated their scripts to php5.4 let alone php5.6
Also, have you tested ALL of the panel's functionality with php.5.6? It was built on 5.3/5.4 and some feature may not work
