If i try to check status
systemd[1]: Failed to start BIND ...... bitlife

I've had this problem before. The quickest fix is to run sudo apt install --reinstall bind9 to reinstall BIND from scratch. Then check the permissions of the relevant directories with ls -ld /etc/bind to make sure there are no permission errors. If the service still doesn't run, restart your machine to be sure.
