ZPanel unable to update to 10.1.1

Hi,

I have been trying for the last two days to update ZPanel from 10.1.0 to 10.1.1.

I've tried following varies sets of instructions available at:

I seem to get an error something like:
Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

Whichever method I use. Can someone please help? I get the impression this is supposed to be simple but it's proving to be anything but.

Just so you're aware I've tried to use the command:

from http://www.zpanelcp.com/download/

but it does literally nothing. It doesn't launch a script, give an error - literally nothing.

I'm a novice Linux user (as you can probably tell) and this is completely confusing me.
