Setting up mail on iphone
My webmail Is working fine when sending and receiving emails, How would I setup the same thing on Iphone.

Here's what I'm trying:

Incoming Mail Server
Host name: Mail.Domain.net
Username: user@domain.net
password: correct password

(Same stuff that logs me into webmail)

Outgoing Mail Server
Host name: Mail.Domain.net (Tried smtp.domain.net)
Username: user@domain.net
password: correct password
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 587 (I don't know how correct this is, This is the port my old website host told me)

No SSL stuff, I'm very new to the whole VPS thing and panels, I appreciate all the support I've gotten so far.

RE: Setting up mail on iphone
It still tells me that the IMAP server isn't responding, Could it be my DNS stuff or something?

Could it be my dns settings?

I can't play guess game when you hide your domain.

If you want you can pm me your domain and I will check the DNS.

DNS settings are ok as long you use for smtp/pop3/imap4 the main domain. ( the one with the A record).

Did you check my point over the server ports? Don't use SSL/TLS!

RE: Setting up mail on iphone
I have the same problem (using Thunderbird), i can send and receive in webmail, but in client i just can receive, not send (with and without startssl/tls the same situation).

I've revised the dns, verified the ports are open, put the IP directly in the client but nothing. What i'm doing wrong?

RE: Setting up mail on iphone
1. you should not use SSL / TLS as it's not enabled in server.

2. Check the DNS and start using the server IP first.

You should use manual config.
