A lot of VPS use openVZ and this is the first report over this. Seem related more to the image you use.

Seem related more to the image you use. Different VPS provider I also signed up with was using the same image for CentOS 7, so I guess this is not as rare as it might seem. They were also aware of this issue when I notified them.
We tested it on Digital Ocean and no issues.
Thank to report VPS providers you got issues with and exact OS images. We will try to check them ( IF WE had time). Beside that if you check our install script you will see we use standard instructions mostly basic service setup. I will try to setup OpenVZ on one of my servers and included in next round of tests. M B
