"Add new record"... is just a button that does nothing, and no where to input anything for new records :S

why is it on display none??? changing it to 'block' shows what should be there in the first place for the add new record submit button

display non as the Div will be hidden. until we flip it to show.

When you add a record, it creates a template with default settings here. you will input your custom fields later.

if I put an entry in via phpmyadmin will it update the dns stuff?

its a bit gimped really, should be stated this stuff doesn't actually work properly for the beta testing.

Yep if you add via phpmyadmin BUT you will need to update too in the panel otherwise the panel won't detect the DNS was updated. So better you do it thru the panel.

.. the panel version doesn't work at all

its hidden,

and even if you unhide it, then fill it out to add dns entries, and press the button to submit.. it doesn't do nothing
