What is Allura?
Apache Allura is an open source implementation of a software forge, a web site that manages source code repositories, bug reports, discussions, wiki pages, blogs, and more for any number of individual projects. Read about all of Allura's features or compare features to other OSS forge software.

The Allura project is self-hosted on an instance of Allura:

RE: Apache Allura[question]
Hi,
Allura uses Python to run:

https://forge-allura.apache.org/docs/get...ation.html

And currently it won't be secure with sentora.

The above website is more about how to build python secure apps. The issue is that python will use CGI that is not secure with sentora.

RE: Apache Allura[question]
You would better check gitlab it's a full feature CI, git manager, issues, CI using docker.
You can also use jenkins if you don't like gitlab CI side, that's what we in my job.

https://gitlab.com/
https://jenkins.io/

you can deploy both as native RPM/Deb packages or use docker ( we use docker).

RE: Apache Allura[question]
My biggest issue with git lab is that you have to pay for some things

As for Jenkins as far as I could tell it's just for getting the builds out its not a repository for project files

@me.b

the biggest thing is that both the things you linked is there for continuous integration what i am looking for is file management and revisions and version control i was kinda hopeful that because you can use apache allura with docker
https://forge-allura.apache.org/docs/get...ing-docker

also i am curious in if sentora has been tested with maas(metal as a service)

@me.b

Sorry if I keep anoying you but I think of this as a learning experience

So I thoght that because allura used docker it would be secure I'm still a little new to server hosting stuff(I am running a semi personal server atm)

https://forge-allura.apache.org/docs/get...#first-run

Now if it can't be secured then can the docker container it is in be secured

This may seem like a stupid question to you but you know this stuff that is why I ask
