All Domains point to CP after Migration
Ok so i have migrated my server from zpanel to sentora here. fresh install of sentora, duplicated all databases and restored vmail and all host data file structures, however when moving domains over to the new ip fromt he registrar, everything goes to the zpanel login instead of their appropriate host data directories

any suggestions?

Alas i did forget to move over the vhosts configuration file.

However, once i moved the file over and reloaded apache2 i recieved this error and apache no longer starts up . any way for me to have sentora auto populate this file as it would if i was adding records by hand?

Code:
* Reloading web server apache2                                                                                     *
* The apache2 configtest failed. Not doing anything.
Output of config test was:
AH00548: NameVirtualHost has no effect and will be removed in the next release /etc/zpanel/configs/apache/httpd-vhosts.conf:7
AH00526: Syntax error on line 52 of /etc/zpanel/configs/apache/httpd-vhosts.conf:
Either all Options must start with + or -, or no Option may.
Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.

That's odd... As apache config are not the same. Apache 2.2 VS Apache 2.4.

Backup/ restore should be for same server config not different os release. Now you have different apache with different php.

You would better get back the apache config you got there (after panel install) and run cron job. All you have to do is adding a sub domain so vhosts will be written again.

Take big care not messing up your setup.

RE: All Domains point to CP after Migration
Well luckily the sentora install isnt the primary server still. im running 2 different VPS systems right now so if i do screw it up its s simple matter of wiping out the vps and starting over (hopefully without repeating the same mistakes again) i combed through the config and removed all the issues. it turns out the issue was that each domain had an argument that the new apache didnt like. specifically:

Code:
Options ExecCGI -Indexes

needed to be changed to

Options ExecCGI Indexes

once those were removed i got the error of no domain log directories existing so i created them. apache loads properly now. BUT all sites are now going to error 403 see here: http://webnetvn.com. which i feel has to do with the changed to that config line

Am i going to continue running into problems with this? would it be more advisible to go backwards to 12.04 again? i feel like other systems lik ebind and postfix are going to have similar problems no?

RE: All Domains point to CP after Migration
Heres a thought, can we throw something on the roadmap for an actual migration system? imagine an admin with 50 customers with domains and email etc on a vps and he needs to switch providers? this is something ive always thought was missing. can we put something in even if its for sentora II?

Hi webnetvn

Glad to see you trying out the new version, just as a warning we haven't perfected the new installers or the updaters yet.

Are you getting any errors in the apache error logs?

Also make sure the code pulled is from the master branch at HEAD as there have been recent code changes to get apache working with Sentora at both 2.2 and 2.4.

Run the daemon.php manually using php /etc/zpanel/panel/bin/daemon.php (thats off the top of my head)

If Sentora is generating the vhosts incorrectly please let us know and we can look at getting it fixed Smile
