- I received the documentation and no support for any firewall, it is possible to submit a security module supporting either (shorewall, firewalld, iptables)

Better have configured manually using iptables but you can try APF, its work fine on my server.

I don't think firewall should be a module.. May be later in the core.

You can use CSF too.
