Daemon cron not working

I have tried all I could find but I cannot get the daemon to work. It works when i run it manually:

php -q /etc/sentora/panel/bin/daemon.php

But not the cron.

I have tried:
- to update ubuntu
- to re-install cron (apt-get install cron)


I use a Digital Ocean droplet (Ubuntu 14.04 x64) and Sentora 1.0.3

The crons set in Sentora admin panel do work fine. It's just the daemon that does not work. I checked out the link but that all seems to be ok.
