Webmail Configuration

Webmail Configuration
Hello, i was wandering if it is possible the following scenario :

On my server i have some customers, using most of the services, including email.
One of them, is using another company for webhosting because their website is written in Ruby on Rails.
They have on that company also their pop and imap servers, and the dns management. But they don't have webmail client. So, what do you think is the best way to provide that service to them ? Is it possible to configure the webmail, only for that customer to use a 3rd party record ? Or am i supposed to change the Domain Records for MX to my services ?
(The first scenario is more lightweight for me Big Grin )

RE: Webmail Configuration
yes you can.

You can even host DNS outside and point only the enabled services in your sentora box.

RE: Webmail Configuration
So, how can i configure only on client to access their already owned mail exchange servers through sentora's webmail, without moving them ?

That would be rather problematic and involve more work than is needed.
Why not just install roundcube or similar on their already working server?

Alternatively, setup a sub-domain from their domain, such as webmail.domain.tld and add that to sentora, then install a new roundcube setup on that host.

No you can't access outside exchange using default webmail!

Webmail will default to sentora server mail config/boxes.

Beside that exchange usually have it's own webmail more suited, better you use it.

RE: Webmail Configuration
If anyone is interested into that, i solved the problem setting a new subdomain like that : webmail.domain.tld and installing a new webmail (Afterlogic PHP) through Sentora for that specific client. I avoided a huge mess patching the default one for such a complex approach.

Thank you for your assistance and support Big Grin
