As i can see, you are using version 1.0.1? You should be using version 1.0.3 (latest Sentora version). I would re-install it again and check back that option, it takes like 5/10 min to install Sentora.
Cheers

Yes, if you are using CentOS there is an issue in the installer with regards to FTP not being installed. (The repository path is incorrect.) There are a number of post describing how to fix it. Even easier IMHO is to use Ubuntu 14.04 instead until we can get the installer updated. I'll see if I can find one of those posts for CentOS.
http://forums.sentora.org/showthread.php...4#pid23194 Seems like you need to install epel repository manually first, then Sentora will be able to get FTP installed normally during installation. (If I read that correct.) (08-12-2018, 04:47 AM)TGates Wrote: Yes, if you are using CentOS there is an issue in the installer with regards to FTP not being installed. I gave a fix, which was implemented, then I realised there was a slight error in the fix so I rewrote it, but the original change was just undone instead of being updated. The difficulty is, if you search my other posts and find the fix, you can't implement it yourself if you reply on the github-hosted installation script and files. I forked them and made my own modifications as a result, which is a shame as I would have preferred for everyone to benefit from the fix. I always use CentOS as it's always been the flavour of Linux I know best so personally I wouldn't want to change just because someone won't correct a line in an installation script. I had tagged Me.B to make sure it was updated properly in GitHub. I'll find your fix and try to update github myself. Ok, I double checked the code and updated it in the installer (branch: 1.0.3-release) Will tag it 1.0.3b and update the installer path (sentora.org/install) |
