Subdomain not appearing in DNS list

I created a sub domain but when I go to the DNS to create the entries, I do not see the the subdomain listed there; only the main domain appears there.

rcstudents.co.nz is set up as a shared subdomain for all clients.

But when I try an add the DNS entry it does not appear as an option and so I can't add it:

Yes, I have already done this

   

So I added the domain under /?module=apache_admin while logged in as zadmin

I then created a reseller called "studentadmin"


I then shadowed "studentadmin" and added rctudents.co.nz as a domain and added the DNS -> www.rcstudents.co.nz (now resolves).


Under the same account I tried to add the subdomain hosting.rcstudents.co.nz (going to use it for xBilling). It added fine in the subdomain section but no DNS options come up as per the previous positing.

Try it now. You forgot to add 'hosting' as a CNAME record in the DNS Manager for the domain. I added it and it works properly now
Also, as per the email, you can also see how the shared domain works too.

It is VERY easy to do once you see how it works the first time
Now, each additional account can use that same domain when entered in the way I showed you.

Many thanks, yes I forgot that you need to add the domain as a full domain i.e. not in the subdomain area
