Sanetora setup for beginner

I install Sentora control panel. I setup name server (ns1.mycompany.com & ns1.mycompany.com) in domain register .

Q1)When I type ,mycompany.com in the browser , it goes to the control panel ,not the website.


Q2)If I create domain as an admin ,how can I transfer to those domain to client account.

Q3) I think its better , If i can do it as
cp.mycompany.com as control panel address.How can I do this?

3. First, create a DNS register in your domain control panel for cp.mycompany.com (DNS type A)
Now you can access to you sentora panel in cp.mycompany.com.

1. In your sentora panel, create a new domain for mycompany.com, next, create DNSs for the domain in DNS Manager.
Now, when you put mycompany.com in your browser you will see your site, not your panel login.

2. In sentora, you can't transfer a domain, but maybe can create the client account and transfer the files of the site from the zadmin folder to the client folder with FTP or SSH. (this case for html files only, the email and ftp accounts, databases, etc. have to be created again in the client panel).

Thanks for the reply. I reinstall the sentora again.

During installation , I setup control panel path is cp.mycompany.com.
But it does not work . I can access control panel through IP.

Also ,this time I create all my domain under separate user not under zadmin.
So domains are working.

Mailsmsi, I'm not quite sure why its not accessing the cp but now that you have access Sentora control panel why not create a sub domain i.e. cpanel and redirect it to sentora cp admin?

Not working

1. The DNS cp.mycompany.com have to be created before the installation of Sentora, in your domain control panel (GoDaddy, for example), wait some hours until the register be ready.

2. The DNS have to be A, not CNAME.
Example: [img=http://s15.postimg.org/bpsjn1r4n/sen.jpg]

My domain register 123 reg UK wants 10 pound for a sub domain.
So I want to set up sub domain
cp.mycompany.com from the control panel.

My another question is what is root the password for mysql.

One problem Solution

Q)How can import large data  sql  files in mysql ?

mysql -h yourhostname -u dbusername -p databasename < yoursqlfile.sql

It ask the password . Type db password. All Done.
All db username ,password and database can created by control panel

My another question is what is root the password for mysql.

The root pass for MySql is showed at the end of the installation of sentora, and is saved in /root/password.txt (Access with SSH or Filezilla/SFTP and download it)

Copy joomla site from old server to new server.Copy database .Change configuration file db settings.
Not working
Error 500
