Cannot add Packages in Sentastico

After checking on another server, the owner had the wrong permissions for both /etc/sentora/ and /var/sentora/

ALL of /etc/sentora/ should be owned and grouped by apache.apache for CentOS and www-data:www-data for Ubuntu.

Same goes for /var/sentora/hostdata/

Tested on his server running CentOS 7 with proper file/folder permissions and it worked as intended.

Permissions on my server are 0755 for the above files/folders.

please help i am totally lost.

i think i followed how to add permissions but now i am lost... i get this message...  i added chmod with recursive to change permissions:


sudo chmod -R 0755 /var/sentora/hostdata/

sudo chmod -R 0755 /etc/sentora/

sudo chmod -R 0755 /var/sentora/
 

and now i am getting this on the sentora:


Error getting package information. Try again later.

If problem persists, contact your server administrator.


on prompt i get this:



ubuntu@sp:/etc$ zppy repo list

Did you remember to chown www-data:www-data for same files and folders also?

Hi Guys I am new using sentastico

I am using CentOS 7.2.1511 not sure how to get the Sentora version... but I changed the owner and group for Apache instead of root on the folders /etc/sentora, /var/sentora, /var/sentora/hostdata and I used the commands "find /etc/sentora -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;" "find /var/sentora -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;" and all folders has the permissions 755... but I am still facing the error message "Error getting package information. Try again later.

If problem persists, contact your server administrator."

Any idea? thanks!!
