Sorry, I forgot specify certain things, my SO is Centos 6.x.

For TLS(587 submission) and SSL (465, smtps), i can use the same steps in the thread??

Yes, steps are essentially the same.
However you need to make the necessary adaptations (like apt-get to yum).
