Hi
Why doesnt the 6.x version install that?
When Centos is installed with minimal mode, I.E. no httpd, php, mysql, etc.. then wouldnt Sentora be able to install MariaDB on Centos 6.x?
you should ask red hat over that not us!
Thanks for the answer... Though not helpful.
I've done alot of modification I.E. install, update, etc on centos 6.6 with sentora, but then when I was looking into upgrade mysql to mariaDB, this is the thread I stumble on...
Though I do not have alot of experience in linux, as I've only worked on centos 6.x and zpanel/sentora, I did not expect that simple questions like that gives me an answer like that....
Let me rephrase:
I'm installed centos 6.6. Then installed sentora.
Then, I find out that sentora DOES install MariaDB but only on Centos 7
So, let me tell you what my problem is;
If I want to use MariaDB and also have the possibility to update sentora with upgrade-scripts easly without problems, do I have to reinstall and use Centos 7 instead of 6.6?
If I replace MySQL on centos 6.6 with MariaDB, would I get problems with sentora updates?
