Also the issue with Centos 8 or Centos Stream, supporting it is supporting a php version that is already EOL. Which is not great for WP https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php .
This is why we are opting to support latest Ubuntu 26.04/24.04/Debian 13.
We can support Centos, but I feel not worth it currently.
And last point suhosin is a problem as we changed totally the security model and added a lot of new features.
