Code:yum remove -y httpd php php-pear php-mysql php-cli php-common mysqld phpMyAdmin postfix dovecot sendmail ProFTPd vsftpd named pdns pdns-backend-mysql pdns-server pdns-server-backend-mysql
Code:yum clean all
I know in theory why we tell people to do this, but I've never had any issues EVER with services being installed already on CentOS (I must admit I've never tried it on Ubuntu though). I wouldn't really say that would be an issue IMHEO Ron-e.
