Good luck with that... I think he has moved on to other projects. Even the current caretakers of the Sentora project don't seem able to contact the original developer from another thread that I read recently.
I use CentOS so not sure if the upgrade to Ubuntu 16/18 makes a vast difference to anything or if all the packages that installed on Ubuntu 14 will still install on 16/18, but I'll have a look when I get a chance. The installer script can easily be changed to make it work on the up-to-date Ubuntu, so it's really just down to whether everything installs correctly such as Apache, PHP, MySQL (or rather, MariaDB) etc.
Won't get chance to do this straight away but I will look at it as soon as I can.
