FTP port 21 is closed

Installed Centos 7 today YES from the link MrB added
= http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/7/i...l-1708.iso

and had port 21 closed error....

tried
[root@cpanel ~]# service proftpd status
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl status proftpd.service
Unit proftpd.service could not be found.

[root@cpanel ~]# systemctl status firewalld
● firewalld.service - firewalld - dynamic firewall daemon
  Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/firewalld.service; disabled; vendor preset: enabled)
  Active: inactive (dead)
    Docs: man:firewalld(1)


IS there a fix for this or is it another unsolved mystery ?
