Backup to a cloud service

Backup to a cloud service
Is there a possibility to backup -- with options:

full sentora config/db
full user/domain information, and db's including websites

into an encrypted package that gets uploaded/synced in a scheduled manner to dropbox, box, etc?

There would be a component ofcourse that authenticates and gets a token from the sentora server into the hosted cloud provider to upload.

This would mean that in order to restore, you could have the restore module just recieves a readable link/token, that could be temporary even. Then on a vanilla server, you could restore sentora into a completely brand new vps/server as if nothing had changed, with an option to enter the new IP for the host, incase it changed.

It can be done easily for user config to any support FTP/Rsync/Cloud/Hubic ( OVH Cloud) as long you have the api/ gateway. I usually do backup + RSync and LFTP (rsync over FTP ) and some files are sent to Hubic/OVH cloud.

RE: Backup to a cloud service
multicloud is nice..
i'm more concerned about the backup export/import ability part of sentora, than actual file copying.

can sentora be backed up and restored into a completely new vps without much effort as if nothing had changed? if this was required, what would be the directories/components that would require backup?

No currently there is no import/export tools. But you can do that manually.

Mainly you need to backup ALL DB's.
Also you will need all
/etc/sentora
/var/sentora

you will likely need Main apache/bind/postfix/dovecot config too ( unless you rebuild it with a fresh install).
