First time installation // Help and suggestions

Hi there,

I am a fresh newbbie on sentora and i want to use sentora to host my websites. I wish to ask for some advices and guidance to install sentora for the first time and configure my domain name to work on sentora.

I have ordered a fresh new vps to work on sentora and i made a registration of a new domain name, i am not sure well how to configure it (DNS Settings as i dont understand it much).

So i ask, is it okay to use sentora as my control panel and help to do this with community members!

I made a fresh installation of Centos 7 x64 on my vps to start working on sentora using my hosting provider control panel.

You can use cloudflare DNS, your registrar DNS if you are unfamiliar with DNS and point domain name to server IP.

HI there and thanks for your support.

The problem is everytime i send a email to any of my email accounts i go to spam box they dont get my emails so i have something wrong on my dns configuration, internal emails its ok (it works), i have another vps running on zpanel and its the same issue.

I made a installation with this new vps and the problem is the same, i mean i can manage to make them work (domains+website) but the email accounts goes all to spam boxes in google and other providers, i am not sure how to fix this, they work great internal but external they dont, sometimes even they get rejected...

I found a problem on installation process....

It appears that package httpd is already installed. This installer
is designed to install and configure Sentora on a clean OS installation only!

Please re-install your OS before attempting to install using this script.

Not sure how will i fix this....

You need install the Sentora in a clean OS installation, with minimal packages.
You can try:

sudo yum erase httpd httpd-tools

Or reinstall the OS. I think that's the best option.

You have apache in your install. It's not default minimal but likely a custom VPS image.

Do the above will remove apache
