creating sub domain

After following the step by step in documentation for creating sub domain my sub domains are still not working any ideas where I could be going wrong?
The steps Im taking is this
1.Go to Domains/Sub Domains and add new sub domain
2. Go to DNS manager and select the domain for the sub domain i've created select Edit
3. Select CNAME and add new record, using the sub domain name i created and set target as @.

Run deamon and restart apache

But no joy any ideas?

1. Are daemon Live?

2. Which DNS server are authorative for your domain? Which show in whois for your domain? Those must be zpanel if you which to manage DNS thru zpanel otherwise any dns modification in zpanel won't go live!
If you set your domain to be managed with your registrar/provider then you should add the DNS there.

ME B thank you for your response I guess I must have been a bit inpatient as I've just just checked again and the sub domain seems to have propergated now and it started working.

Correct, domains/subdomains can take up to 48 hours to propagate the web so patience it required
