The mcrypt extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration.
After the installation of sentora on Centos 7, when i log in the phpmyadmin it gives the message as 'The mcrypt extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration.' at the bottom of the page ...

May be you didn't install it properly. Did you get successful message?
You may want to re-install on fresh os.

Hi, just now i did fresh installation again on centos 7. still i receive the same message. I have attached the screenshot of the message that appears at the end of the installation.

Kindly let me know where i am going wrong ?

I just google something, that might help you out. See if it works and if you are using the same os.

when i type the above , it gives path not found ...

in the screenshot i sent it shows 'failed to restart proftpd.service:unit not found'

is that normal ?

cd /etc/php5/mods-available

I didn't read that written on link i sent. I think you need to run the command and see it works.

Ok, I read it now in command. May be we need to find different tutorial. I didn't test it so i didn't know if it will work or not.

sudo apt-get install php5-mcrypt
sudo ln -s /etc/php5/conf.d/mcrypt.ini /etc/php5/mods-available
sudo php5enmod mcrypt
sudo service apache2 restart

May be you can login into your root, using "WinSCP" download it, if you don't have it. Then login as root user.

And then this fiel
your-date-of-installation_06.41.29_sentora_install.log

you might see more what went wrong. I checked I think i don't see any error on my proFTPD" in logfile.

This is the latest post i can found for you, written in 2017, so it might work.

Check the version of php, i think it's probably 5, you need to use.
