www. Subdomains Redirect To Sentora Login

Hi,

I'm doing some experimenting with Sentora as my server admin panel, but I'm having a small problem:

All the www. versions of hosted domain names are simply redirecting to the Sentora login screen, rather than pointing corrently at their respective websites.

Attempting to add www. subdomains through the panel fails with an error explaining that www. prefixes will automatically work for all domains, yet this isn't the case.

I've done some searching & couldn't find anything similar elsewhere on the forums.

First off, www is considered to be a sub domain. You need to point it at you domain, as mentioned below.

Second, did you add the www as a CNAME in the DNS manager for the selected domains? (It should be automatically added when you first enter the DNS manager after adding a domain and selecting it).

Also, why use www on a sub domain? (www.sub.domain.com) It is common practice to not use www for sub domains, only for the main domain (www.domain.com). Yet, the practice of using www at all is a fading trend

My DNS is handled elsewhere, as I don't have enough IPs to run my own DNS. (Registrar wants more than a single IP there). All records are pointing at the server correctly, including the www. one.
Does the Sentora DNS management matter any if that component is hosted elsewhere?
