Can't receive emails

Hello everyone!

I am sort of new here, I've been a little inactive for some time while I sorted some other stuff out and now I'm back online, doing what I was doing before, but I got a big problem I sure could use help with.

Any help is appreciated!

So I can't send or receive any emails it seems from my server, and I'm not sure why. I've made sure the uvw and everything installed on my Ubuntu server allows for all ports to be opened. (25, 587, etc) but my host blocks port 25 anyways, so I changed that in the Sentora Config from port 25 to 587. However, still having an issue or receiving and sending. I'm not sure what is going on but would love some help if anyone is willing.

P.S I should also note that I am terrible with MX Setup and am completely a beginner when it comes to it.

Seems I figured it out!! I had to do the following in case others need it:

Edit /etc/postfix/master.cf

and put:

submission inet n - n - - smtpd

under:

smtp inet n - n - - smtpd

Table can be super okey, but if the server is not up you cannot do nothing, and email activity should be stopped instead to show serveral failures about tables that it cannot check.

How solution to it? my website work's fine and I have many outher 5 scripts work fine, send email, but not receive at moment I use zohomail to comunication via email.

I have the exact same problem. All work fine until 26 September when i can send emails but can't receive any mail except from my server. Nothing in configuration was changed. I look for solution, but if anyone cam help it will be very helpful. Thanks a lot.

OK I Find what my problem is and now all work excellent!!! I make nmap scan of my server and i find port 25 is closed (i use router with firewall) and after open the SMTP Port 25 i start to receive mails normally.
