Just wondering if anybody has upgraded proftpd to v1.3.5b from v1.3.5rc3 on Ubuntu 14.04.4 or if doing so will mess anything up for Sentora 1.0.3.

yep as you will likely break proftpd config. You will need to restore symbolic link for config file at least and was never tested.

Is there any news about that?, the default proftpd version has an issue with the tls handsake that makes virtually impossible to work with...

The problem is that almost every time we try to upload a file or list a directory it tooks a random amount of time form 5 seconds to almost a minute and it makes impossible to work this way.

Are you aware that redhat already patch all critical issues in using the packages?

Unfortunatelly we already have some production servers under Ubuntu, I'll try to update to the latest version and see what happens, Sad

crossing fingers... if any one has already updated, his experience will be greatly apreciated.
