Migrate from ZPanel to Sentora

Config files got some changes so best is rebuilding them

i have finally found time to carry on with this...

the export script exports all the databases and the files that seemed important
the data was transferred using rsync
the import script imports the databases and moves back the files
the undo script reverses all changes made during import script

during import i realised that x_settings, x_modules and x_faqs tables should stay as original install as there doesn't seem to be much in there that should change.

however when i navigate to the server the page is completely blank. the logs show nothing. is there a debug mode?

the zpanel database seems to be encoded in latin1_swedish_ci and the sentora database is utf8_general_ci. what is the best way to address this? to dump the old database as utf8 or import as utf8?

Good point yep think that's the best solution dump and import using the new encoding. It matters more for logins.

i have read http://docs.sentora.org/?node=39 but i am getting absolutely no output from
/var/sentora/logs/sentora-error.log
/var/sentora/logs/sentora.log
/var/log/httpd/error_log
just blank page

The panel is turning blank? enable debug in php.ini and logging for all errors.

in /etc/php.ini i set
display_errors = On
display_startup_errors = On
log_errors = On (already set)

i still see no errors in the logs. is there something else i need to set?

i think i am going to have to start again and manually recreate my entire configuration. this is pretty bad for zpanel and sentora that there seem to be no tools whatsoever for helping users to migrate from one server to another. there should be export and import functions built into the system. without these features the system is worthless.

Notice the move to sentora was a bit forced. We were quite fine with Zpanel before we had issues with the project owner and see they never intended to ...

And we are doing our best to help updating the panel and moving zpanel users.

A lot could be done here but few are willing to help.
