I had also the owner fault of the packages directory. Chowned to apache:apache did the trick.

First tought: Maybe add a button to add all package at once? Or maybe with tickers.

Thanks bbspike, I have added the new permissions check but need to test it out before a new test update and will also look into your suggestion of tick-box or install-all. Although no promises since the only time an admin needs or may want to add all packages is after initial install (has to due with the package scanning process unless I can do it as a loop...hmm!).

I'll update it on Github after the permissions test too so anybody can take a peek and help out with it

Yeah, was afraid that would happen I didn't get to test it. Apparently the module controller and install.run do not work in the same manner...

Seconden tought shellexec probaly gets blocked by suhosin.

I have request a pull on your git but dont know if thats the new version? Added ui:translate everywhere in the controller.

I didn't update Git with the newest permission fix yet, but I can merge the two. Should be simple.
Was a long day. If I get restless later I'll sort through it. Thanks bbspike

Any further updates, i would like to try it out, as the current sentastico installs the older software versions and having to update each time, in this new one, can the wordpress be made to install the latest.tar.gz?

Some packages I have already updated and more will be done and added also. I'll be finishing it off tonight.

I believe it is all set for testing now. See first post for instructions. The file permissions have been fixed (Tested on Ubuntu, not 100% sure on CentOS).


Once testing is completed I will be working on adding more packages.
