MySQL Reinstall Critical Error: [0100] - Unable to connect or authenticate to the Se

Hi guys,

Recently i had problems with mysql on and on, service was unable to start, and was crashing all the time.


So i decided to reinstall it, im new to this obviously. So i deleted all the mysql files and installed fresh mysql. And i see that is not working, panel is giving critical erorr. And all my websites on Wordpress are giving, "Error Establishing Database Connection". How can i make this happen and make it work?

Sentora rely on mysql you can't delete it and install a fresh one!

Did you restore the DB's installed on mysql?

If mysql keep crashing it's more likely because you don't have enough cpu/ram !

Yes i have backups, i also noticed that there are two directories for mysql now /root/mysql where are all my sql databases and /var/lib/mysql/ where there is just another mysql folder, debian-5-5.flag, ib_log, ibdata, mysql.tar.filepart

Any way i can get Sentora back and runinng?

restore all the tables into the new mysql.

Hope it works if you backup are valid. But you will loose db's permissions for users as they are in mysql schema/system tables
