Install php-mysqlnd

Hi there

I want to use MySQL Prepared Statements, so I tried to install php-mysqlnd but I have this error

Error: php-mysql conflicts with php-mysqlnd-5.4.16-42.el7.x86_64
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest


Please advise me a solution

No, i just want to use mysqlnd for prepared statements

Now can I replace mysqli by mysqlnd? There's any issue?

Just as an FYI: We will not be able to support you as this will be a custom install and may break future version or upgrades to Sentora and it's related web stack on your server.

If all you want to use it for is prepared statements, I suggest you use PDO (I now use this in all my projects) or native MySQLi (PDO is a bit better since it can be used on more databases, where as MySQLi is limited to MySQL servers only - depends on what you plan on using your script for - personal use on your own server or if you want to share it with the World.)

I'm still using native MySQLi, but my localhost runs without any issue, but go live, it occurs a lot of errors

After 3 days with this, I can solve it now, seems mysql limits numbers of prepared statements & results? Now in code, I closed statement after each query then all solved
