For ZPanel to work properly you really need to use a domain/subdomain as described in the install tutorials.

In ZPanel Config you can change the login port > ZPanel login port
You will also need to edit httpd.conf file:
find:
Code:
LISTEN 80
add after:
Code:
LISTEN ##
where ## is the new port number.

You may also need to edit modules/apache_admin/hooks/OnDaemonRun.hook.php

Look for something like:
PHP Code:
   // ZPanel default virtual host container

   $line .= "# Configuration for ZPanel control panel." fs_filehandler::NewLine();

   $line .= "<VirtualHost *:" ctrl_options::GetSystemOption'apache_port' ) . ">" fs_filehandler::NewLine();
and change it to:
PHP Code:
   // ZPanel default virtual host container

   $line .= "# Configuration for ZPanel control panel." fs_filehandler::NewLine();

   $line .= "<VirtualHost *:" ctrl_options::GetSystemOption'zpanel_port' ) . ">" fs_filehandler::NewLine();
(Unless you already patched your version) basically it is changing apache_port to zpanel_port for the zpanel vhost entry.

do a full daemon run.

There is a bug in port change with last zpanel. It's been fixed in sentora & tested fully working as it should be.

What is your OS? you can't have centos 7 & zpanel?

So change the port in zpanel & also modify it manually in file:

/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

change

listen 80

to the new port.

you don't want to change the apache port...
You do not have this option in ZPanel config?

Angel  Ahh, ok. I must have edited the DB on my install to make it show in the settings (MySupport Addon below).
You can do one of two things through phpMyAdmin as root user:

On row 9 in zpanel_core.x_settings:
  1. Change the zpanel_port column so_value_tx to the new login port number.
  2. Change the zpanel_port column so_usereditable_en to true and then edit the port in ZPanel config.
Also, do not forget to do the file edit above (was a bug and is now fixed in sentora) Wink
