[Not Solved] Changing the zpanel hostname
How do I change the zpanel hostname which is used for Apache? I've tried changing the Centos hostname and rebooting but that is not it, and can't find it in the settings mysql database - can anyone tell me what and where I change it ??

Not the login URL right? Can you give me an example of what you mean by 'zPanel hostname'.

Just a guess, but I think he means what would come up in phpinfo perhaps?

I take that back, mine is right, so maybe he just wants Sentora Panel on a new subdomain?

If so, then its right in our docs: http://docs.sentora.org/?node=89

[Not Solved] RE: Changing the zpanel hostname
OK I'll explain it a bit better; Firstly its Zpanel rather than sentora. In the generated apache config

#Apache VHOST configuration fileAutomatically generated by ZPanel 10.1.1
#
NameVirtualHost *:80
Configuration for ZPanel control panel.
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerAdmin zadmin@localhost
DocumentRoot "/etc/zpanel/panel/"
ServerName zpanelimage.hostwindsdns.com <------ THIS ITEM

This is created by the apache config module onDamonRunHook line

ctrl_options::GetSystemOption( 'zpanel_domain' )

So my question is where is this stored as I can't find it in the MySql database Sad
and I would like to change it.

Sentora is a fork from Zpanel from the original creators of Zpanel, so Zpanel == Sentora, only the name, updated and dropped windows support.

Quote:ServerName zpanelimage.hostwindsdns.com <------ THIS ITEM
Check the link from TGates and just change sentora too zpanel and it works.
Code:
setso --set zpanel_domain CONTROLPANEL.YOURDOMAIN.COM

=----------------------------------------=
My Sentora DemoMy GithubAuxio Github
Zentora themeS-Type themeCstyleX theme
flat-color-iconssmall-n-flat-icons
=---------------------------------------=

Did you know: There are clever Sentora Documents and a working SEARCH option?

Thanks very much for that, its solved my problem.

Actually I was being stupid, because when looking at the settings with PHPMyAdmin
didn't realise there were more pages past the first 25 items displayed...

Yes, I appreciate that Sentora is an ongoing, supported fork of Zpanel, but I'm running
a couple of centos servers and a Windows box so its easier to stick with the older panel
albeit it has some shortcomings.

Right on, hopefully we will get the upgrade scripts finished off so you can convert to sentora Wink

This may help your windows box: https://github.com/TGates71/Sentora-Windows-Upgrade

I wrote it as I updated my old Windows server so the basic file and DB changes should work just fine for you. Just skip the DB name conversion part. That has not been tested yet.

It includes many fixes from after zp 10.1.1 also.

Ok, I will be the dummy.

For clarification, what would happen if I ran that command? And I guess the "hostwindsdns.com" part should be the user's panel subdomain?
