What is the best way to do this? I have the idea to select it directly from the database but I couldn't figure out how Sentora does its authentication. Is there an API for this?

Thank you so much for your help so far  I'll use that to the best of my abilities but I wish I could at least figure out what hashing algorithm that Sentora uses so maybe I can auth against the user's database.
If you want to authenticate from the database, I suggest you take a look at this file:
