Activate wildcard
Hi

New here and new to Sentora.

I set up a VPS with Sentora and set this using hostname  *****.mysitehost.eu, so this is the access URL used to access the control panel.

I have a wildcard SSL on my domain mysitehost.eu as this is the domain i use for the hostnames of all my servers.

so in effect i want it to open with https://*****.mysitehost.eu/.

I have set up the details under the domain mysitehost.eu, but when i try https://*****.mysitehost.eu/ all i get is

Quote:Google Chrome's connection attempt to ******.mysitehost.eu was rejected. The website may be down or your network may not be properly configured.
Check your Internet connection
Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems or other network devices you may be using.

Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.
If it is already listed as a programme that is allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

If you use a proxy server...
Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server: Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > + Show advanced settings > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN".

so how can i attached the wildcard ssl to this

RE: Activate wildcard
You would need to add all subdomains into the subdomain module.

Next load: Module Admin -> Apache Config -> Override (each subdomain)

Add in redirects using the override for each subdomain
Add in references to wildcard SSL certificate for each subdomain (http://docs.sentora.org/?node=64)

Reload vhosts config

Can only create a subdomain if the main domain is on the server, but the main domain is on a different server

RE: Activate wildcard
Just add the main domain in the domain module... it doesn't have to be used on that particular server.

RE: Activate wildcard
SSH from http://docs.sentora.org/?node=64 does not work as below shows

login as: root
root@***.***.*.***'s password:
Last login: Tue Aug 4 18:44:20 2015 from host-*********.net

[root@venus ~]#
[root@venus ~]# mkdir /var/Sentora/hostdata/zadmin/ssl_certs
mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/Sentora/hostdata/zadmin/ssl_certs': No such file or directory
[root@venus ~]#
