  1. I log into the Sentora admin panel and everything is working fine.
  2. I log into a LMS I made for my students and get to the dashboard.php file where students can see their grades and attendance.
  3. At this point, I jump back into the Sentora admin panel and try to run a module. It's at this point I get the HTTP 500 error.
  4. Restarting the server lets me log back into the Sentora admin panel.
I've attached a screen shots of the Sentora admin panel after I try to use it while also viewing the dashboard.php file in another tab.

I've also included links to the sentora-error.log file and the dashboard.php file. The LMS (dashbord.php) works on Ubuntu 18 LTS without causing any issues with other sites on the server.

dashboard.php

After reviewing the logs I can see you might not be setting up incorrectly. For some reason your install over wrote the panel see Sentora-error.log. You cannot install your app or script in Sentora panel. You need to create a domain/sub domain first for your app. Grades.example.com then ftp into the domain you created and then setup your application. This will create its own sandboxed account and allow you to setup your app safely. I can help you or show you how if needed. But we shouldn’t continue here in This thread. Please email me directly. You can find my email in my profile. Thank you for understanding. This thread is for php 7.3 upgrade issue. Not custom install issues. Awaiting your email.

Sent you an email to continue this conversation, but for the record, I did exactly what you suggested. I "...create a domain/sub domain first for your app. Grades.example.com then ftp into the domain you created and then setup your application."

Awesome!! I'm so glad to hear people are testing this update for Sentora php 7.3 CentOS 6 & 7, Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04. I make updates nightly. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me through email in my profile. I'm hoping to have a STABLE version to release soon for LIVE & PRODUCTION SYSTEMS. I am still far from complete. All help is needed. Thank you for a post here and letting me know you have tried my upgrade and support this upgrade for sentora. We need to help each other to get this done. Please remember this upgrade is under development. There are many issues to still be resolved with supported OS's, but if you find something when testing please let me know in a email. Hi Jetta!

Thank you very much for your job!

I have upgraded a server using your script and it's working very well.

Snuffleupagus seems working because it has blocked the command "patch" in a PHP file.

For now I just found a problem with DNS manager.

The page says:

Code:
Unable to find requested module!

Keep your good work!

Best regards.

BTW What could go wrong upgrading Ubuntu to 18.04?

RE: Sentora PHP 7.3 with Snuffleupagus as Suhosin replacement
Hi!

I found a problem in Sentora daemon. It's returning this error:

Code:
SQL Error: Incorrect datetime value: '1573833031' for column 'lg_when_ts' at row 1

The solution is here:

In:
Code:
/etc/sentora/panel/dryden/debug/logger.class.php

Change:

Code:
$statement = "INSERT INTO x_logs (lg_user_fk, lg_code_vc, lg_module_vc, lg_detail_tx, lg_stack_tx, lg_when_ts) VALUES (0, '" . $this->logcode . "', 'NA', '" . $this->detail . "', '" . $this->mextra . "','" . time() . "')";

To:

Code:
$statement = "INSERT INTO x_logs (lg_user_fk, lg_code_vc, lg_module_vc, lg_detail_tx, lg_stack_tx) VALUES (0, '" . $this->logcode . "', 'NA', '" . $this->detail . "', '" . $this->mextra . "')";

Best regards;

Hi!

Quote:Unable to find requested module!

For some reason dns_manger module was missing in /etc/sentora/panel/modules.

I have downloaded the files from Sentora Github and now the module is loaded.

Bind9 also was not running, now I have managed to make it work;

Now I'm fighting to make postfix to work. I'm getting this error:

Code:
fatal: instance /etc/postfix, shlib_directory=/usr/lib/postfix conflicts with instance /etc/postfix, daemon_directory=/usr/lib/postfix

Moreover I think custom snuffleupagus rules are not placed in /etc/sentora/configs/php/sp/sentora.rules when daemon runs.

This workaround doesn't worked.

Code:
sed -i 's|daemon_directory = /usr/lib/postfix|#daemon_directory = /usr/lib/postfix|g' /etc/sentora/configs/postfix/main.cf

There's nothing after:

Code:
#### vhost CUSTOM snuffleupagus rules - SAFE TO ADD BELOW

Best regards.

Sorry for late response. Somehow i forgot to recompile the package with the DNS_module. Oops. All fixed. Run this to fix/Repair installation.

Code:
bash <(curl -L -Ss http://zppy-repo.dukecitysolutions.com/repo/sentora-live/php7_upgrade/update.sh)

I think you might have a old INSTALL version. PLEASE ALWAYS UPDATE before posting here. This is already applied to new version of code. Run code below to update -

Code:
bash <(curl -L -Ss http://zppy-repo.dukecitysolutions.com/repo/sentora-live/php7_upgrade/update.sh)

RE: Sentora PHP 7.3 with Snuffleupagus as Suhosin replacement
Hi!

I found the solution for Postfix conflict here:

Code:
postconf -e daemon_directory='/usr/lib/postfix/sbin'
postconf -e shlib_directory='/usr/lib/postfix'
postconf -e compatibility_level=2
for i in $(postconf -Mf | grep '^[0-9a-zA-Z]' | awk '{print $1"/"$2"/chroot=n"}'); do postconf -F $i; done

Best regards.
