Extplorer as FILE MANAGER

Extplorer as FILE MANAGER
Hmm just tested:
http://extplorer.net/wiki/EXtplorer's_Features

Support zip/unzip & FTP MODE. But I don't know if we can hook it's authentifcation thru sentora & restrict folders.

Able to use it for FTP looks great. Zip / unzip don't work as it might require SSH & currently use only ftp thru proftpd.... awesome piece

RE: Extplorer as FILE MANAGER
Key config file:

/config/conf.php

default login is: admin/admin

you can set FTP as default authentification using:
$GLOBALS['ext_conf']['authentication_method_default'] = 'extplorer';

Change extplorer to ftp.

Also available authentification modes are:
/include/authentication
and you would be surprised to see SSH too there!

Also if you use Explorer authentifcation the user DB is a flat file:

/config/.htusers.php

All what a module have to do is translate FTP users/passwords there... Not bad as file manager & zip works fine in explorer/ssh mode.

Me.B didn't post a tutorial.
He has simply given some suggestions to create a module for it. You misunderstood it Smile

RE: Extplorer as FILE MANAGER
No blank page here... IT worked out of the box.

Just unpack it & check conf I pointed here. Enable php errors to see what's wrong.
