Email sending problem
Hi all,

I made a clean setup of Sentora on Vultr VPS with default configuration.  But I got problem with sending emails. I can receive emails easily but can not reply or send a new email. The RoundCube webmail notification sending completed but nothing happen. I checked with mail client via IMAP and SMTP but still have the same problem: can receive, can not send.

Please help me! Thank you!

-Anthony-

P/s: My domain DNS setup (A) mail to VPS IP and MX @ to mail.my-domain.com. Is it correct?

Try telnet 17.182.34.64 25
and then to other mail servers. Maybe Your provider blocks port 25...

Thanks ruycz! Vultr by default block port 25. I sent them a request and now everything works fine. This is the detail from Vultr: https://www.vultr.com/docs/what-ports-are-blocked

Hello Lesy247,
Vultr block certain ports by default, i know i had an emnail problem myself but i asked them to unblock them and they sent me this email:

Hello,

I have removed the default SMTP block on your account. Please restart any active instances via https://my.vultr.com for the change to take effect (restarting via the server itself _will_not_ work).

For reference, our ANTI-SPAM policy is listed here:

https://www.vultr.com/legal/antispam_policy.php
Hope this helps.

SMTP is working fine in zpanel same as in sentora. Check if you ISP is not blocking your port 25. But we made some tuning nothing big in sentora.

I have tested it on CentOS 6.6 in different ISP including OVH. But never worked!

I had been running dozen of tests & live production system on OVH NO ISSUES! So better you explain your setup before rushing to conclusions.
