Logs (Error, Access)

Logs (Error, Access)
I noticed that is not possible to view any log from web interface, i think this feature is really important.

I don't know if it should be added directly to domain module or a new log viewer module.

RE: Logs (Error, Access)
There is a log viewer module...

zppy repo add rustus.txt-clan.com
zppy update
zppy install system_logviewer

Then go to module admin and enable it for admin only.
Next, go into the module and read the README at the bottom of the page to set it up.

RE: Logs (Error, Access)
But users should be able to view their logs. There is a feature like that in the roadmap?

Well, somebody can build a 3rd party module to do this. The dev team have enough work ATM...

I will try to develop it then.

Cool, take a look at some of the routines in Sentastico/Zantastico and system_logviewer modules. You will be able to get most of the code/ideas from them. I think if you do that, you will find it very simple to make the 'User Log Viewer' Wink

If I had a few hours, I'd work on one. Time just hasn't been my friend lately.

RE: Logs (Error, Access)
For log checking & such low admin task I usually rather use webmin that already offer all those features. I don't need a module there for sentora panel.

RE: Logs (Error, Access)
I can check logs using tail /var/sentora/logs/domains/zadmin/blablabla.log
But there should be some module that allows sentora users to view logs of their sites. I'm working on it now.

RE: Logs (Error, Access)
I think it's far more effective if we move the logs so they can be accessed with FTP. Far easier.
