[Help] Location of proftpd users
Hi,

I just added a new HDD to our VM, yet Sentora doesn't use the space added for FTP. Where do I add it manually?

You can't that way!

You need to move all /var/sentora to the new HDD and then mount it.

How did you expect it to work? You need mainly to allocate the space to /var/sentora that's the key

Yes I noticed it... I mounted a new 'folder' as /hdd2 , but I thought there would be an option where I would be able to allocate the new users.

I guess I'll be requesting this future if possible.

or am I able to use mount of the new partition in /var/sentora ? This was actually my first time doing a mount under unix conditions.

it's the safest way or setup a symbolic link.

this not only ftp using it but email /apache/ logs... that makes a lot

I did a symbolic link, but when I'm uploading, permission denied.. so I suppose it won't work using symbolic links... I'll try mounting it under /var/sentora ... and hope to not break the VM ;D

symbolic link is ok BUT you need to restore users permission
