Looking for Sentastico Package Maintainers

Looking for Sentastico Package Maintainers
Want to help out but not too sure how? Here is a simple way! Help update and maintain open-source packages for
#Sentastico
!

I'm looking for 2-3 volunteers who have basic ZIP and file management skills to help create new, and update old, packages for the
#Sentastico
module. It is very simple to do and would help the community out by expanding this great module!

I have created an easy to use repository for the packages making the job that much easier!

If interested, reply to this post and we will work from there.

Thanks!

You can automate the stuff Tom.

If you have a process it can be automated all the way down to build modules. We can even use jenkins.

Can you set an example of a module?

Huh
Automation...hmmm... my kind of scripting LOL

Download most recent open source package from their home page, check folder layout, move files if needed, import sentastico.xml (with proper infos) and if custom install path, sentora-installer.php. Then zip it all back up and post it to the sen-packs repo?

yep all that can be done and automated Tom.

As long you have guidelines that are followed they can be scripted. Why doing that manually?

Seemed like they way to do it for the past 10 years LOL
Some packages are created different, they are often not zipped and organized in a format that Sentastico can easily install. So manually setting them up seemed easier. Especially testing each package to make sure it gets deployed properly to the user's selected folder.

even tests post deployment can be automated Big Grin it require more work in the start then you can take a nap as it all run using the scripts. We can manage the process either using jenkins or travis.
