Add time to Sentora Backup Config

Add time to Sentora Backup Config
Setting a time for backups to any furture Sentora release would be really great for people like me for example my education site gets really busy during the day GMT 9am and 9pm, so running a backup during this period is really not good for me. If I could set it myself would be beneficial.

Thanks

RE: Add time to Sentora Backup Config
hi
I'm wondering of how this can be possible with a temporary code editing

RE: Add time to Sentora Backup Config
I almost did that by setting an external script doing the job.

RE: Add time to Sentora Backup Config
If I had the time the way I would do it is
- Interval choice, day,week,fortnight, month
- Optional date and time choice
- Also a run backup now.(Run this via ajax)
- Plus ability to chose what is backup e.g. whole site cnf and hostdata and db or just clients etc...

Shouldn't be to hard to knock up.

You should script it. That's what I did

RE: Add time to Sentora Backup Config
"currently"?
You have been saying since February that you "did the opposite and created your own script"... but why? Why not just fix or "upgrade" the default backup code?

Features that would transform the default backup system to an amazing backup system (summarizing):
- Per user backup enabling (Instead of a global switch)
- Time of day of when it should be doing backups.
- Optimized backup for large servers
- and of course officially implement the fix for the "multi-backup within same day" issue

RE: Add time to Sentora Backup Config
There is already a fix for the multi-backup issue. Let's see if I can find it again Blush

Found it: http://forums.sentora.org/showthread.php...7#pid11037
It was you who found the fix Wink I'll see if I can get a pull request in.
